H2S Technician – Offshore Safety Operations

About the role

United Safety is seeking experienced H2S Technicians to support offshore and on‑shore operations in Abu Dhabi. The role involves planning, installing, and maintaining H2S safety equipment while ensuring compliance with site safety plans and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating safety activities with client representatives for drilling, well servicing and industrial sites.
• Operate and maintain H2S safety equipment, conduct drills, rescues, inspections, site hazard assessments and safety meetings under senior supervision.
• Install, dismantle and strategically place safety systems such as cascade systems, breathing‑air lines, manifolds, breathing apparatuses, gas detection devices, barriers and signage.
• Ensure adherence to the Site Safety Plan, PTW procedures and coordination with Safety Officers.
• Perform regular safety inspections, audits, walk‑downs and participate in incident investigations and shutdown audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 2.5 years of offshore H2S experience.
• Fluent English communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently residing in the UAE or able to join immediately.
