About the role
The Head Hostess leads the front‑of‑house team for the Akira Back restaurant at W Hotels. You will ensure smooth seating operations, manage reservations and provide exceptional guest service in a high‑end dining environment.
Key responsibilities
- Answer phones, take dining reservations and enter guest information into the reservation system, maintaining wait lists and accurate wait times.
- Seat guests, organize seating for large or special‑needs parties, and ensure each table is set with clean menus, napkins and silverware.
- Monitor dining room flow, cleanliness and safety, guiding guests and assisting them throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with management on hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching front‑of‑house staff.
- Uphold company policies, safety procedures and professional appearance standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least one year of related front‑of‑house experience.
- No prior supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification required.
