About the role

The Head Hostess leads the front‑of‑house team for the Akira Back restaurant at W Hotels. You will ensure smooth seating operations, manage reservations and provide exceptional guest service in a high‑end dining environment.

Key responsibilities

Answer phones, take dining reservations and enter guest information into the reservation system, maintaining wait lists and accurate wait times.
Seat guests, organize seating for large or special‑needs parties, and ensure each table is set with clean menus, napkins and silverware.
Monitor dining room flow, cleanliness and safety, guiding guests and assisting them throughout their visit.
Collaborate with management on hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching front‑of‑house staff.
Uphold company policies, safety procedures and professional appearance standards.

Required profile

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
At least one year of related front‑of‑house experience.
No prior supervisory experience required.
No specific license or certification required.
