Head Hostess - BeatBAB

About the role

BeatBAB is a hospitality concept combining tapas, expressive drinks and an analog listening culture, described as a social, younger and freer format. The Head Hostess leads the hostess team and makes sure every guest receives a warm, professional welcome that reflects the brand's standards. She manages reservations, seating and guest flow and acts as the first impression of the venue.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly on arrival and escort them to their tables
• Oversee the reservation system to maximise occupancy and ensure smooth table turnover, handling special requests and VIP reservations
• Lead, train and schedule the hostess team, keeping grooming standards and etiquette high
• Monitor guest satisfaction at entry and departure and coordinate with operations to resolve concerns
• Assign tables according to guest preferences, reservations and operational flow, and update guest profiles
• Act as liaison between reception and service, sharing waitlist, walk-in and event information
• Prepare daily reservation summaries, guest feedback notes and performance reports
• Ensure hostesses know greeting protocols, reservation systems and service standards, and coach them regularly

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality, Tourism or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years as a Hostess, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role in fine dining or upscale hospitality
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
• Professional appearance, confident demeanor and warm personality
