Head Of Commercial - Private UAE Market

About the role

The Head of Commercial will lead Julphar's commercial strategy for the private healthcare market across the UAE. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability and market expansion while aligning sales activities with marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Sales and Key Account Management teams to exceed targets.
• Own full P&L for UAE commercial operations, ensuring sustainable profit.
• Produce accurate sales forecasts and demand plans based on market trends.
• Implement and optimise CRM systems for medical representatives.
• Plan field force deployment, territory alignment and coverage.
• Conduct performance reviews, set KPIs and monitor results.
• Drive product listing in hospitals, pharmacies and clinics.
• Build strong relationships with healthcare providers, distributors and key accounts.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing on campaigns and product launches.
• Identify new business opportunities and competitive insights.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, medicine or related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of pharmaceutical experience, including 5+ years in senior commercial leadership in the UAE.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high‑performing teams.
• Deep knowledge of UAE healthcare market dynamics and regulatory environment.
