Head of Digital Solutions

About the role

The Ministry of Community Empowerment seeks a senior leader to drive its digital transformation agenda. This role will define and execute the digital strategy, overseeing enterprise applications, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital government initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Ministry's Digital Transformation Strategy and Technology Roadmap, aligning with national digital government initiatives.
• Lead the management of IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cloud services, and data platforms to ensure availability, performance, and security.
• Oversee ICT procurement, vendor management, contract administration, and budget planning for technology investments.
• Implement IT governance frameworks, information security controls, and quality management practices in line with ISO standards.
• Monitor KPIs, service performance, and project delivery, providing regular reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven track record in developing digital transformation strategies, technology roadmaps, and large‑scale ICT projects.
• Strong knowledge of IT governance, risk management, cybersecurity, and international standards such as ISO 27001.
• Experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, and procurement for technology services.
