Head of Institutional Sales

About the role

The Head of Institutional Sales will support the Head of ADIB Securities in identifying brokerage opportunities, building client acquisition momentum and ensuring high client satisfaction. The role involves overseeing referral agents, organizing marketing presentations and contributing to special projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and engage institutional clients in the UAE and abroad, targeting at least three new relationships per month.
• Reactivate inactive relationships, aiming to generate additional funds from at least two clients each month.
• Conduct workshops, presentations and seminars to strengthen ties with existing and potential brokerage clients.
• Identify, screen and supervise referral agents, finalize contracts and monitor performance.
• Develop a “Market Maker” unit, secure approvals, acquire technology and appoint resources.
• Prepare and deliver client meeting minutes, follow‑up letters, brochures and subscription documentation.
• Organise monthly sales review meetings and present performance statistics to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of proven leadership experience in Institutional Sales, Brokerage or Capital Markets.
• Strong knowledge of UAE/GCC and international stock markets, IPOs and custody services.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Bloomberg and Reuters terminals.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
