About the role
Airwallex is seeking a senior leader to head its Middle East business. This role will own the full commercial, operational, and cultural agenda for the region, driving strategy, team growth, and cash‑flow‑positive performance.
Key responsibilities
- Lead SME and Enterprise commercial teams to achieve revenue, acquisition, and product‑adoption KPIs.
- Own the end‑to‑end go‑to‑market strategy and customer experience for the Middle East.
- Define and execute a long‑term commercial vision, identifying high‑growth segments and verticals.
- Partner with Legal, Risk & Compliance to secure licensing and regulatory approvals.
- Manage full P&L responsibility, targeting cash‑flow‑positive performance.
- Optimize regional marketing budget in line with global priorities.
- Design commercial team incentive structures within the global framework.
Required profile
- Proven builder with founder‑like energy and a track record of delivering impact.
- Strong commercial expertise, sharp analytical thinking, and data‑driven decision making.
- Ability to move fast with good judgment, balancing speed and rigor.
- Humility, collaboration, and a bias toward execution from zero‑to‑one ideas.
- Comfort with leveraging AI tools to work smarter and solve problems.
