Head of Search Engine Optimization

About the role

Metropolitan Premium Properties is looking for an experienced Head of SEO (SEO Manager) to lead its organic search strategy, strengthen online visibility and drive growth in qualified property enquiries across multiple websites, languages and markets. This is a strategic leadership role combining deep technical SEO expertise, proven team management experience and knowledge of international SEO, multilingual sites and emerging AI-powered search.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run the SEO strategy, set KPIs and report monthly to marketing and executive leadership
• Lead technical SEO audits, Core Web Vitals, structured data, site migrations and work with developers via Jira
• Build international and multilingual SEO, including hreflang and local visibility via Google Business Profiles
• Develop GEO strategies for AI-powered search such as ChatGPT Search and Google AI experiences
• Lead keyword research, content strategy and use AI tools to improve research and workflow
• Drive organic lead generation, build dashboards in Looker Studio and report on performance
• Oversee ethical link acquisition, manage external agencies and monitor backlinks
• Recruit and manage the SEO team and coordinate with developers, content and marketing teams

Required profile

• Fluent English; a second language is essential: Russian or Arabic
• 7+ years of SEO experience, including at least 3 years leading an SEO team
• Proven experience managing SEO for multiple large-scale websites and property catalogues
• Experience delivering website migrations and URL restructuring while protecting rankings
• Experience reporting SEO performance to marketing and executive leadership monthly
