Head of Tendering and Contracts – MEP

About the role

Our partner is seeking an experienced Tendering & Contracts Manager to lead the MEP tendering department in Dubai. You will take over from a retiring manager, handling the full cycle from opportunity identification to contract signature, directly influencing job awards and pricing accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, guide and review a team of 5 Mechanical and Electrical Engineers preparing MEP tenders.
• Ensure tenders are priced accurately and align with actual project costs.
• Identify and pursue new high‑rise residential and commercial project opportunities.
• Prepare, review and finalise FIDIC‑based contracts while managing contractual risk.
• Lead client negotiations through to contract award and sign‑off.
• Report tender pipeline, win rate and estimate accuracy to the General Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of MEP construction experience with a strong tendering and contracts track record.
• Proven experience leading teams of engineers or estimators.
• Career stability with at least 4 years at the current or previous employer.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
