About the role
The Heart of House Specialist supports essential hotel functions by maintaining cleanliness across departments such as kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry. This role ensures guests enjoy fresh linen, spotless dining ware, and a safe, well‑maintained environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and clean linen, dishware, and other hotel items for guest use.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including dishwashers, hand‑wash stations, and laundry machines.
- Transport dishes and linens throughout the property, handling items up to 50 lb without assistance.
- Follow safety procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and uphold uniform and appearance standards.
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching for extended periods.
Required profile
- Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Work experience: No prior related experience needed.
- No supervisory experience, licenses, or certifications required.
