Heavy Duty Driver (BCT) – Transport & Load Operations

About the role

The Heavy Duty Driver (BCT) is responsible for safely operating a range of company‑owned light and heavy vehicles, including buses, trucks and loaders, to transport, load and unload equipment, machinery, components and pipes across various sites.

Key responsibilities

• Operate buses, heavy trucks, loaders and other heavy equipment in field and site locations.
• Load and unload materials, following hand signals and verbal instructions, and ensure loads are securely balanced before travel.
• Drive employee buses to transport passengers safely between locations.
• Inspect vehicles daily, report any damage or malfunction, and coordinate maintenance as required.
• Obtain work permits for entry into restricted areas and adhere to all safety and traffic regulations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure company stickers and documentation are visible and up‑to‑date.
• Report accidents or incidents and prepare necessary written reports.

Required profile

• Valid heavy‑vehicle driving licence and ability to follow loading instructions.
• Strong awareness of road safety and company safety policies.
• Willingness to work in various field locations and obtain required work permits.
• Good physical condition for loading and unloading tasks.
