Heavy Vehicle Driver – Water Tanker

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, safety‑focused Heavy Vehicle Driver to operate water tanker trucks across Abu Dhabi and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for delivering water and other liquids while adhering to the highest standards of road safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy‑duty water tanker vehicles safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, document any mechanical issues and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of routes, fuel consumption, delivery times and cargo documentation.
• Load and unload water tanker cargo safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure fastening.
• Use GPS and route‑planning tools to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations.
• Comply with UAE traffic regulations, weight restrictions and hazardous‑material handling procedures.
• Communicate delivery status and operational concerns with dispatchers, customers and team members.
• Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and well‑organized.
• Participate in safety training and vehicle‑maintenance programs as required.

Required profile

• Valid UAE commercial driver’s licence for heavy vehicles (Category 4 or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience operating heavy vehicles or tanker trucks.
• Proven experience with water‑tanker operations and cargo handling.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, basic troubleshooting and mechanical systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of UAE traffic laws, road‑safety regulations and hazardous‑material transport requirements.
