Heavy Vehicle Operator – Petroleum Delivery

About the role

The Heavy Vehicle Operator is responsible for loading petroleum products onto heavy‑duty road tankers at ADNOC Distribution terminals and delivering them safely to customers, filling stations, and depots across the UAE. The role ensures vehicles are road‑ready, complies with safety standards, and follows all traffic regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive Filling Advise Notice (FAN) and transport the tanker to the designated loading bay.
• Inspect the vehicle before loading, verify maintenance completion, and report any defects.
• Load petroleum products according to FAN details, ensure hoses and couplings are correctly connected, and seal the tanker under supervision.
• Drive to customer sites, maintain safe speed limits, and adhere to UAE traffic rules.
• Connect and disconnect hoses at delivery points, obtain customer signatures on delivery notes, and return documentation to dispatch.
• Report accidents or breakdowns to the ADNOC Emergency Response system and follow depot emergency procedures.
• Ensure all required permits, registration cards, and security passes are valid before each trip.

Required profile

• Valid heavy‑vehicle driving licence and authorization to operate road tankers.
• Ability to perform thorough vehicle inspections and identify safety issues.
• Familiarity with UAE traffic regulations and emergency response protocols.
• Good physical stamina for handling hoses, couplings, and equipment.
