Heavy Vehicle Operator – Petroleum Delivery

About the role

The Heavy Vehicle Operator is responsible for loading petroleum products onto road tankers at ADNOC Distribution terminals and delivering them safely to customers, filling stations, or depots. The role ensures that each vehicle is fit for service, complies with safety standards, and follows UAE traffic regulations throughout the delivery cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify Filling Advise Notices (FAN) and transport the tanker to the designated loading bay.
• Inspect the vehicle before loading, confirming routine maintenance, hose and coupling availability, and that the product compartment is empty.
• Load petroleum products according to FAN details, seal the tanker, and complete required paperwork.
• Drive to customer sites, adhering to safe speed limits and UAE traffic rules, and report any incidents to the ADNOC Emergency Response system.
• Connect and disconnect hoses at customer locations, ensuring the receiving personnel are ready.
• Collect and hand over delivery notes for customer signature and return them to dispatch.

Required profile

• Valid vehicle registration, road permits, and security passes.
• Ability to perform pre‑trip inspections, checking oil, tires, lights, and overall cleanliness.
• Good knowledge of UAE traffic regulations and safety procedures.
• Reliability in reporting defects, abnormal noises, or emergencies promptly.
