About the role

The Hemodialysis Registered Nurse provides safe, patient‑centered care to individuals receiving hemodialysis at Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the nurse ensures each treatment phase is managed effectively, from preparation to post‑dialysis monitoring, while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care for patients undergoing hemodialysis across pre‑, intra‑, and post‑treatment phases.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and allied health professionals to meet patient needs.
• Apply critical thinking to manage clinical situations and emergencies.
• Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot dialysis equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection‑control and safety protocols.
• Support quality‑improvement initiatives and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current nursing license in the home country and in the UAE.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a dialysis nurse.

Required skills

• Hemodialysis procedures.
