Host - VIP Guest Experience

About the role

Kerzner International is hiring a Host for One&Only Royal Mirage Resort in Dubai. The role ensures that all VIP guests receive personalized service from arrival to departure, and reports directly to the Assistant Manager, Guest Experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist VIP guests: check-in, escorting, concierge enquiries, guest orientation and special requests.
• Take note of VIP arrivals at the start of the shift, greet them personally and attend to special requests.
• Follow the Service Standard policies, attend shift briefings and communicate special requests to the team and the Manager.
• Recognize guests celebrating special occasions and coordinate the required actions.
• Update guest profiles in Opera, attach scanned passport copies to registration cards and hand in the cards at the end of the shift.
• Organize special amenities, handle complaints and celebrations, and run daily courtesy calls to check guest satisfaction.
• Keep resort collaterals, magazines and newspapers ready, and arrange room allocations as requested.
• Follow up with housekeeping on pending queue and priority rooms, liaise with the airport team on guest arrival times and locations, and relay transport requests.
• Be trained in emergency procedures and basic first aid, and be flexible with working hours according to occupancy.

Required profile

• At least 1-2 years' experience in a similar role in upscale luxury hospitality or five-star hotels.
• Customer service and reservations background, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent spoken and written communication in English and/or another language.
• Middle East/GCC experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Computer literacy, including relevant software.
• Experience using the Opera reservation system.
