Hostess - Food & Beverage

About the role

NH Collection Dubai The Palm, part of Minor Hotels, is looking for a warm, welcoming and service-oriented Hostess to join its Food & Beverage team. The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests, creating a positive first impression and ensuring a smooth, memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests warmly, professionally and in a friendly manner.
• Manage restaurant reservations, guest arrivals and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus when required.
• Maintain accurate knowledge of outlet hours, menus, promotions and hotel facilities.
• Monitor table availability and coordinate with the service team for smooth seating flow.
• Answer telephone inquiries and handle reservation requests professionally.
• Recognize returning guests and special occasions and share relevant information with the team.
• Assist with guest requests, feedback and concerns, escalating when necessary.
• Keep the reception and entrance area clean, organized and professional.
• Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager, supervisors, kitchen and service team, and follow grooming, hygiene, health and safety standards.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Outlet Management team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Warm, confident and outgoing personality with a passion for guest service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stay professional and composed during busy periods.
• Well-groomed with a professional appearance.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
