Hostess - Restaurant

About the role

Rixos Hotels, established in 2000 in Turkey, offers an all-inclusive, all-exclusive resort experience in Dubai. The Hostess creates a warm first impression by greeting and seating guests, managing restaurant reservations and keeping service flowing smoothly. The role calls for excellent communication, attention to detail and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their assigned tables
• Manage reservations, cancellations, table assignments and special requests
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of restaurant layouts, opening hours, menus, promotions and hotel services
• Answer telephone enquiries professionally and monitor guest flow, organizing waiting lists during busy periods
• Anticipate guest needs, resolve concerns quickly and conduct table visits with the team
• Keep the hostess desk and dining area clean and well presented
• Support menu preparation, cashiering and other restaurant operations when needed

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Hostess or in a similar food and beverage role
• Good verbal English; Arabic or Russian is an advantage
• Pleasant, professional appearance and good personal hygiene
• Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Willingness to follow food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures and to attend training

Required skills
