Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor – Dubai

About the role

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor ensures that guest rooms, public areas and pool facilities meet Sheraton’s high quality standards after they have been serviced by housekeepers. Working on a full‑time basis in Dubai, you will coordinate daily housekeeping activities and act as the key liaison between housekeeping, engineering, front office and laundry teams.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool after cleaning to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies and prioritize cleaning tasks.
• Update room status for departing guests and communicate changes to the next shift.
• Assist housekeeping management with daily operations, hiring, training, scheduling and performance coaching.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to resolve issues with discrepant rooms.
• Prepare, distribute and communicate room‑assignment changes.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Follow all company safety, security and confidentiality policies.

Required profile

• Physical ability to lift ≤ 55 lb unaided and >55 lb with assistance; push/pull housekeeping carts on uneven surfaces.
• Capability to stand, walk, kneel, sit or bend for extended periods during a shift.
• Proficiency in using computers or point‑of‑sale systems to enter and retrieve work‑related information.
• Strong visual acuity for reading small print and verifying information.
• Excellent verbal communication in clear, professional language.
