Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor

About the role

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor ensures that guest rooms, public areas and facilities meet Marriott’s high quality standards. Working closely with housekeeping, engineering, front office and laundry teams, you will oversee daily cleaning operations and maintain a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool areas after cleaning to verify quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies and prioritize cleaning tasks.
• Coordinate room assignments and communicate changes to the next shift.
• Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms in collaboration with the Front Desk.
• Assist housekeeping management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching staff.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, security and appearance policies.
• Provide courteous service to guests, including assistance for individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant housekeeping experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Physical ability to lift ≤ 55 lb unaided and >55 lb with assistance, and to perform repetitive movements such as bending, twisting and standing for extended periods.
• Basic computer literacy for entering and retrieving work‑related information.
