Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Lana – part of the Dorchester Collection – is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a multicultural team in delivering the brand’s high standards of guest experience and property care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Executive Housekeeper and Senior Housekeeper in daily operations and oversee shift activities.
• Ensure guest rooms, public areas and staff zones are clean, inspected and maintained to Dorchester standards.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialised tasks such as marble polishing, carpet shampooing and façade cleaning.
• Prepare cyclical cleaning schedules for public areas and collaborate with engineering on preventive maintenance programmes.
• Monitor and control departmental expenses, contributing to budget compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping operations, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a diverse team while maintaining high service standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest and colleague satisfaction.

Required skills

• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and standards.
• Familiarity with budget management and expense control.
