Housekeeping Supervisor - Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah

About the role

Hilton is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor for its Waldorf Astoria in Ras Al Khaimah. The role supervises housekeeping attendants and ensures that guest rooms and public areas meet hotel standards, while supporting the team and coordinating with other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping attendants, allocate rooms and deep-cleaning tasks, and inspect rooms and reports
• Report clean suites to the front desk and enter them into the property management system
• Manage guest requests, including VIP amenities, and handle lost property and guest laundry
• Inspect guest bedrooms regularly and respond to guest queries quickly and efficiently
• Report maintenance issues to the Maintenance/Engineering department and coordinate with them on repairs
• Assist the Senior Housekeeping Supervisor with training, represent the team's needs, and support inspections and other departments
• Provide customer service to guests, promote team loyalty, and comply with security, fire and health and safety regulations
• Perform supportive duties such as quarterly linen inventory and room cleaning when needed

Required profile

• Fluent reading, writing and speaking of English
• High school math level
• Able to inspect 25 to 80 rooms per day and physically move large objects such as carts, furniture and linen
• Ability to follow hotel standards and act in emergencies

• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and colleagues
