Housing Attendant

About the role

Anantara Hotels & Resorts, a luxury hotel and resort brand rooted in Thai culture, is hiring a Housing Attendant at its Anantara Downtown Dubai property. The role covers the accommodation of hotel staff, from assigning rooms to managing records, maintenance requests, inventory and inspections.

Key responsibilities

• Accommodate new employees in staff accommodation as instructed by the Director of People & Culture, and handle colleague welfare and privacy concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of room allocations, occupancy, vacancies, staff locations and furniture inventory, and keep inventory lists signed by occupants.
• Manage external cleaners, security officers, contractors and other service providers on the staff accommodation premises.
• Receive and follow up on complaints about accommodation, repairs and maintenance, and report incidents to the People & Culture Department.
• Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of public areas such as the roof, pump room and common areas, and conduct monthly inspections with Security and the People & Culture Manager.
• Handle accommodation contracts, lease renewals, water and electricity clearance certificates, and telephone service installation and disconnection.
• Coordinate the return of furniture, bedding and other assets, and prepare welcome amenities and transport for new joiners.
• Submit monthly occupancy reports and other reports requested by the People & Culture team.
