HR Group Director

About the role

The Group HR Director will provide strategic leadership for the Group's people agenda across its portfolio of companies and markets, driving transformation and building a data‑driven HR function.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Group's People & Culture strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
• Assess and redesign the HR operating model, introducing standardized, automated processes and modern employee experience practices.
• Lead organisation design, workforce planning and support for new business launches, acquisitions and integrations.
• Define talent management, leadership development and succession frameworks to attract, develop and retain high‑calibre talent.
• Establish a high‑performance culture, enhance performance management, and drive employee engagement initiatives.
• Shape total rewards philosophy, review compensation structures and ensure reward governance across markets.
• Drive HR digital transformation through HRIS, automation and analytics, providing reliable people reporting and dashboards.
• Ensure HR policies, governance and compliance with employment legislation across relevant jurisdictions.

Required profile

• 15+ years progressive HR experience, including senior leadership roles such as Group HR Director, CHRO or VP HR.
• Proven experience in multinational, diversified or multi‑entity organisations, managing HR across multiple countries.
• Strong track record of leading HR transformation, organisational change and culture initiatives.
• Experience working directly with CEOs, shareholders, boards and executive leadership teams.
• Good knowledge of UAE and KSA labour laws.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field; Master's/MBA and professional HR qualifications (CIPD, SHRM) highly desirable.
