HR Specialist

About the role

The HR Specialist will support recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations for both local and Chinese staff in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct recruitment, resume screening, interview coordination, background checks and onboarding follow‑up.
• Manage onboarding, probation, transfers, resignations, contract renewals and maintain comprehensive personnel files.
• Track daily attendance, schedule shifts, approve leave and overtime, and generate monthly attendance reports.
• Assist with performance evaluation systems, result aggregation and incentive optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi labour laws, social insurance, work permits, visas and mitigate overseas employment risks.
• Facilitate employee communication, conflict resolution, team‑building activities and cultural initiatives.
• Prepare HR ledgers, personnel movement reports and data analysis, liaising with the domestic headquarters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 1 year HR experience in overseas Chinese enterprises; experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is a plus.
• Strong organisational, data‑analysis and document‑drafting abilities.
• Excellent communication, detail‑oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Basic English; Arabic proficiency preferred.
