HSE Field Engineer (DGD)

About the role

The HSE Field Engineer (DGD) will monitor health, safety and environment performance across ADNOC Offshore operations, ensuring compliance with corporate HSE standards, policies and procedures. Acting as the focal point for HSE management system implementation, the role supports field activities, incident resolution and continuous safety improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Review HSE reports and feedback from Group Companies to provide timely support.
• Monitor HSE compliance during equipment installation, asset start‑up, loading, off‑loading and shutdown activities.
• Facilitate understanding and communication of the HSE Management System and Codes of Practice.
• Update purchasing standards to ensure equipment meets safety codes and latest technology.
• Develop and maintain safety manuals, hazardous area instructions, safety publications and posters.
• Prepare and update safety inspection checklists and schedules for hazard assessment.
• Participate in HSE studies such as Impact Assessment, HAZOP, HAZID, Root Cause Analysis and Risk Assessment.
• Audit and assess projects and initiatives for sustainable development.
• Analyse accidents, recommend corrective actions and follow up on implementation.
• Investigate accidents as directed by HSE management.
• Support internal audits at site (Level 2) and corporate (Level 3) levels.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HSE management within offshore or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, codes of practice and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to conduct thorough investigations and produce clear recommendations.
• Excellent analytical skills for accident analysis and risk assessment.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
