HSE Manager - Retail

About the role

As part of the Sinyar Management Program, Al Futtaim Retail is looking for an HSE Manager in Dubai. The role creates and maintains a safe working environment across retail operations, working with different teams and stakeholders to give specialist health, safety and environment guidance, support compliance with applicable requirements and help improve safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Occupational Health and Safety Management System and develop checklists, guidelines and workflows
• Oversee the HSSE Incident Management System and analyse incident and inspection data for dashboards and reports
• Ensure compliance with local health and safety laws, manage HSE certificates, attestations and permits, and monitor regulatory updates
• Partner with management on safety improvements, coordinate HSE projects from start to delivery and develop policies and procedures
• Conduct workplace inspections and incident investigations, prepare technical reports and maintain inspection and incident records
• Advise on OHS standards, risk assessments and risk mitigation, run awareness sessions and develop awareness materials
• Work with the Al Futtaim Group HSSE Committee, prepare presentations and meeting minutes, and support stakeholder communication

Required profile

• 5+ years' experience in Health & Safety, Occupational Health or a related field
• Diploma in Engineering, Safety or a related discipline, with NEBOSH, IOSH or an equivalent certification
• Safety-focused, able to take ownership, solve problems and collaborate with different teams
• Good Microsoft Office and English communication skills; Arabic is a plus
