About the role
An HSE Officer position is open in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, within the waste management industry. The role covers site safety, compliance and environmental practices, and is advertised as a contract position.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, regulations and site safety standards.
- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Deliver safety training and awareness sessions.
- Monitor safe waste handling and environmental practices.
Required profile
- NEBOSH certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in HSE, preferably in waste management, cement or industrial sectors.
- Experience in hazardous waste management is an advantage.
Required skills
- Knowledge of risk assessments, incident investigations, safety inspections and environmental compliance.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
