HSSE Officer – Emiratization (Automotive, Fujairah)

About the role

The HSSE Officer will enforce health, safety, security and environmental standards across automotive sites in Fujairah, aiming to minimise risks and ensure compliance with local and internal regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections, hazard identification and corrective actions to reduce incidents.
• Maintain fire detection, alarm and fighting systems, coordinate with contractors for repairs.
• Report and investigate incidents, ensuring closure within 24 hours and update the HSSE IMS.
• Lead emergency preparedness activities, including fire safety inspections, evacuation drills and first‑aider training.
• Support HSSE audits, documentation management and regulatory compliance to achieve zero penalties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (e.g., engineering).
• Minimum 2 years of HSSE or security experience.
• Accredited certifications such as firefighter, first‑aider or similar.
• Fluent in English and Arabic for effective communication with authorities.
