Human Resources Officer – Site Project

About the role

The Human Resources Officer will be based on a construction project site in the United Arab Emirates, supporting day‑to‑day HR operations and ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE labour legislation. The role is pivotal in maintaining smooth HR processes for both blue‑collar and white‑collar staff on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage site‑based HR functions such as attendance tracking, timesheets, and leave administration.
• Coordinate mobilisation and demobilisation of site personnel.
• Maintain employee records, contracts, visas and related labour documentation.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of site manpower as needed.
• Ensure adherence to UAE Labour Law, company policies and site regulations.
• Liaise with the PRO for visas, medicals, Emirates ID and labour permits.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions and other site HR issues.
• Provide payroll inputs for attendance, overtime and deductions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably within construction or site projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR best practices.
• Experience managing both blue‑collar and white‑collar workforces.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a site environment.
