IMS Lead Auditor

About the role

SEE Engineering is looking for an experienced IMS Lead Auditor to strengthen the governance, compliance and continual improvement of its Integrated Management System. The role involves planning and conducting internal audits, monitoring ISO and regulatory compliance, and driving corrective actions across departments and project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual internal audit programme covering ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Plan, conduct and report internal audits across functions, departments and project sites.
• Monitor compliance with IMS, ISO standards and UAE legal requirements.
• Identify non‑conformities, gaps and improvement opportunities and present findings to process owners.
• Support root‑cause analysis and the development of corrective and preventive actions, tracking them to closure.
• Prepare for external certification, surveillance and client audits.
• Review and maintain IMS documentation, including policies, procedures and forms.
• Promote IMS awareness and provide audit‑related training to staff.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety or related field.
• Certified IMS Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (mandatory).
• 8‑10 years of IMS/QHSE experience, including ISO audits, compliance monitoring and corrective‑action management.
• Experience in the construction industry and familiarity with UAE regulatory requirements preferred.
• Additional QHSE qualifications such as NEBOSH IGC are a plus.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Strong auditing skills – planning, evidence gathering, objective evaluation and reporting.
• Understanding of compliance monitoring, risk management and corrective‑action processes.
