Industrial Automation Sales Engineer

About the role

Careers International is looking for a motivated and technically skilled Industrial Automation Sales Engineer to drive business growth in the UAE market. The role covers identifying client needs, promoting automation solutions and achieving sales targets while delivering high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and manage new and existing business opportunities in the industrial automation sector.
• Promote automation products such as PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, relays and control panels.
• Visit clients across the UAE and give technical advice tailored to their needs.
• Prepare and submit technical-commercial proposals and quotations with internal teams.
• Deliver product presentations, demos and support through the pre-sales and post-sales cycle.
• Build long-term relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors and new products.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and report sales forecasts to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or a related engineering discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience selling industrial automation products, preferably in the UAE.
• Valid UAE driving licence and willingness to travel across the Emirates.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of automation systems such as PLC, SCADA, HMI, Soft Starters and Drives.
• Familiarity with brands such as Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Omron and Rockwell.
• Ability to prepare technical quotations and read technical drawings and specifications.
