Information Security Consultant – Cloud Security (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Information Security Consultant to join our Cyber Defense team in Abu Dhabi on a 1‑year renewable contract. The role is hands‑on and focuses on protecting and enhancing the security posture of cloud, identity and hybrid environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, detect and respond to security incidents across Azure, Microsoft 365 and hybrid systems.
• Implement and continuously improve cloud security controls and posture.
• Drive vulnerability remediation and reduce attack surface.
• Investigate identity‑related threats, phishing and suspicious activities.
• Support security monitoring, tuning and incident response operations.
• Assist in securing cloud‑native, container and AI‑enabled workloads.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in information security, cloud security or cyber defence.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR.
• Knowledge of cloud security posture management, incident response and vulnerability management.
• Experience with Kubernetes/container security.
• Relevant certifications such as AZ‑500, SC‑200, SC‑300, SC‑100, CISSP, CEH, Security+ or ITIL are preferred.
