Information Technology Manager (Emirati)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Emirati professional to join a prestigious government entity in Abu Dhabi. The role will be pivotal in establishing and strengthening the organisation's IT function, ensuring alignment with internal policies and delivering reliable technology services.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of IT processes, governance frameworks, and operating procedures.
• Assist in building the IT function and defining the service support model.
• Ensure day‑to‑day IT operations comply with DGE policies and internal standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture technology needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Maintain system readiness, resolve incidents, and provide timely support.
• Contribute to documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Emirati national.
• Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or Diploma with at least 7 years.
• Proven experience in IT Operations, IT Governance, or setting up an IT function.
• Familiarity with DGE policies is mandatory.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
