Information Technology Operations Manager

About the role

The Information Technology Operations Manager will lead and strengthen the organisation’s IT infrastructure, support services, and operational technology capabilities across the group and its associated entities. The role balances hands‑on technical leadership with operational governance, ensuring service reliability, cybersecurity resilience, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day IT operations covering networks, systems, infrastructure and end‑user support.
• Maintain high availability, performance and reliability of all IT services.
• Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs and service performance metrics, implementing ITIL‑aligned ITSM processes.
• Oversee network architecture, server environments, cloud platforms and enterprise systems, ensuring scalability and optimisation.
• Manage system upgrades, patching, lifecycle planning and standardisation across group entities.
• Strengthen cybersecurity posture, implement monitoring, incident response and vulnerability management.
• Manage relationships with vendors, managed service providers and system integrators, ensuring SLA compliance and cost‑efficiency.
• Support the CTO in aligning IT operations across multiple entities, establishing governance frameworks, policies and standards.
• Lead, mentor and develop the IT team, fostering a service‑oriented, performance‑driven culture.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure management or enterprise IT environments.
• Proven track record managing networks, systems and IT support functions.
• Experience in multi‑entity or group‑wide IT environments.
• Strong vendor management and governance experience.
