In‑Room Dining Waiter/Waitress

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join the In‑Room Dining team at One&Only The Palm in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering a warm, personalized dining experience to guests in the comfort of their rooms, reflecting the resort’s high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival and throughout their stay.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them within the resort’s service time standards.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure seamless order preparation and presentation.
• Maintain all mise‑en‑place and service stations, ensuring they are ready for each shift.
• Support special events and private dining requests, adhering to the resort’s quality and presentation guidelines.
• Report any equipment issues, breakages, or maintenance needs to the Team Leader.

Required profile

• Friendly, attentive and able to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Required skills

• Good product knowledge of the resort’s food and beverage menu.
• Ability to operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and handle cash transactions.
• Efficient time‑management and multitasking abilities.
