Internal Auditor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join a multinational financial services organization in Dubai. The role involves conducting audits, evaluating controls, identifying risks, and supporting forensic investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute financial, operational, compliance, and risk‑based audits across various business functions.
• Review financial processes, accounting records, and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Identify control weaknesses, unusual transactions, and potential misconduct, and support forensic audits.
• Perform detailed transaction testing, data analysis, and root‑cause analysis of irregularities.
• Prepare clear audit and investigation reports and discuss findings with stakeholders.
• Track remediation plans and follow up on audit recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Business Administration or related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, risk advisory, or forensic audit, preferably with Big 4 exposure.
• Strong analytical abilities, professional skepticism, and high integrity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, data analytics or forensic analysis tools.
