Internal Controls Manager

About the role

Join Trane Technologies as the MEA Internal Controls Manager, leading the development and continuous improvement of the internal control framework across Middle East entities. You will ensure compliance, enhance operational efficiency, and support sustainable business practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the internal control framework aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash processes to identify and close control gaps.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliation governance, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Perform regular risk assessments and maintain risk and control matrices (RCMs) to support financial reporting integrity.
• Drive remediation of control deficiencies, lead root‑cause analysis, and implement sustainable remediation plans.
• Act as the regional subject‑matter expert, liaising with finance leadership, internal audit, and external auditors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent certification.
• 8+ years of audit, internal controls or SOX compliance experience, including Big 4 exposure.
• Deep expertise in COSO framework, SEC requirements, SOX compliance and U.S. GAAP.
• Proven ability to communicate with senior executives and manage complex projects.
