Investment Banking Analyst - Capital Markets Advisory

About the role

Citi is hiring a full-time Investment Banking Analyst in Dubai. This intermediate-level position supports clients in raising funds in the capital markets and provides strategic advisory on mergers, acquisitions and other financial transactions, working with the Institutional Banking team. It also acts as an intermediary in client trading, helping to formulate investment strategies and raise capital.

Key responsibilities

• Work with senior Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) officers and professionals and take part in client transactions, projects and assignments as the junior member of the Investment Banking team.
• Organize and analyze sophisticated financial data used in client proposals and strategic plans.
• Prepare written recommendations, valuation materials and statistical exhibits for pitches and live deals.
• Conduct economic and financial research and evaluate a company's financial performance against industry and market trends.
• Build complex financial models for valuation purposes.
• Assess risk in business decisions and uphold compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy and ethical standards and escalating control issues transparently.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a closely related area of Business Administration.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Series 79 and Series 63 licenses.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment and meet deadlines.
