iOS Engineer

About the role

This senior iOS Engineer role is based in the United Arab Emirates and focuses on building and scaling a high‑traffic iOS application used by millions. You will work in a product‑centric environment where reliability, performance, and user experience are paramount.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production‑grade iOS applications using Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
• Own features from concept through delivery, applying continuous delivery practices.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and improve client‑server communication.
• Partner with product managers and designers to translate ideas into accessible, high‑quality mobile experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable code with unit and integration tests; contribute to test automation and code reviews.
• Participate in architectural discussions, define iOS development standards, and mentor junior engineers.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and help identify technical risks early.

Required profile

• Several years of professional iOS development experience using Swift.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, or VIPER.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a high‑performing product team.
• Experience delivering reliable, scalable features in a fast‑moving environment.
