IoT Business Consultant

About the role

An experienced IoT Business Consultant is sought to lead digital transformation initiatives across IoT, Industrial IoT (IIoT), Smart Cities, Industry 4.0, Energy Management and Sustainability. The consultant helps clients define transformation strategies, build business cases, develop solutions and drive growth through consultative engagement. The position is full-time and onsite, and candidates must currently be based in the UAE and legally eligible to work there.

Key responsibilities

• Lead consulting and transformation initiatives in IoT, IIoT, Energy Management, Sustainability and Industry 4.0
• Develop business cases and perform cost-benefit analysis for digital transformation programs
• Create and present IoT solutions, use cases and value propositions for Smart Cities, Smart Campuses, Smart Districts, Utilities and Manufacturing
• Build and manage relationships with system integrators, technology partners and ecosystem stakeholders
• Define and execute go-to-market strategies and support business development through meetings, workshops, presentations and demonstrations
• Collaborate with business leaders, IT/OT stakeholders and subject matter experts to define transformation roadmaps
• Advise clients on strategy, implementation plans and adoption roadmaps, and run ideation sessions and innovation workshops

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in IoT consulting, digital transformation, technology advisory or related consulting roles
• Proven experience developing IoT business cases and performing cost-benefit analysis
• Ability to lead workshops, stakeholder discussions and client engagements
• Experience with both IT and OT environments
• Industry experience in Smart Cities, Industry 4.0, Utilities, Energy, Sustainability or related sectors
• Experience supporting business development and pre-sales activities
• Currently residing in the UAE and legally eligible to work there

Required skills

• IoT, AI, machine learning, cloud computing and digital transformation technologies
• Good-to-have: IoT platforms, device management, sensor integration, Edge Computing, Digital Twin, predictive maintenance, SCADA and industrial automation
• Good-to-have: Microsoft Azure IoT, AWS IoT, Google Cloud IoT, proposal development, RFP responses, cybersecurity principles, ESG and sustainability initiatives
