IT Assistant – Luxury Hotel Internship

About the role
Join the IT team of a leading luxury hotel group as an IT Assistant Intern. You will support both staff and guests by delivering fast, reliable technical solutions in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first‑line technical support for hardware, software and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents promptly to minimise disruption to hotel operations.
- Set up and configure computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Respond to support tickets, document issues and resolutions.
- Monitor and maintain the hotel’s computer network and related infrastructure.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years of experience in a hospitality environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field (advantageous).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
Required skills
- Computer hardware installation and maintenance.
- Software troubleshooting.
- Network maintenance and monitoring.
- Familiarity with hotel‑specific applications such as Opera and Simphony (a plus).
