IT Director – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Director to lead the technology function for Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, a new luxury lifestyle destination in Dubai. The role will shape the Business Unit’s IT strategy, ensure robust infrastructure, and drive innovation across hotel systems and guest services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Business Unit IT strategy aligned with Group IT objectives, maintaining governance, SLAs and quality standards.
• Partner with Group IT to implement hotel systems, operational technologies and enterprise architecture initiatives.
• Oversee security, scalability, reliability and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure and systems.
• Serve as primary liaison with Group IT, managing escalations and ensuring timely resolution of critical issues.
• Lead delivery of seamless IT support services for staff and guests, ensuring high service levels and business continuity.
• Manage, coach and develop the IT team while providing strategic guidance across the Business Unit.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or equivalent certification; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of IT leadership experience, preferably in hospitality or a blue‑chip organization.
• Proven expertise in IT infrastructure, systems and support operations.
