IT Executive – Network & Systems Support

About the role

We are looking for an IT Executive to manage and support our company’s IT infrastructure. The role combines hands‑on network configuration, system maintenance, and end‑user assistance to keep business operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, install and maintain networking hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance and security issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Monitor network performance, ensure availability and meet company requirements.
• Set up and manage VLANs, subnets, IP routing and VPN connections.
• Support LAN, WAN and cloud‑based network environments.
• Configure, troubleshoot and manage database storage servers and cloud servers.
• Assist with firewall management, IDS/IPS and VPN security configurations.
• Document network configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps.
• Participate in network performance optimisation and capacity planning.
• Provide end‑user support for network‑related issues both on‑site and remotely.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT support, networking and system administration.
• Hands‑on experience with MacBook configuration and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, VLANs, IP routing, VPNs, firewalls).
• Experience with server management, database storage systems and cloud environments.
• Good documentation, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
