IT Executive – Network & Systems Support

About the role

The IT Executive will ensure the smooth operation of the company’s IT infrastructure by providing hands‑on support for networks, servers, cloud platforms and end‑users. This role combines technical troubleshooting with proactive maintenance to keep business processes running without interruption.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, install and maintain networking hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, performance and security issues across LAN, WAN and cloud‑based networks.
• Monitor network health, perform capacity planning and optimise performance.
• Manage VLANs, subnets, IP routing, VPNs and network access control.
• Support and maintain database storage servers and cloud servers.
• Assist with firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention systems and VPN configurations.
• Document configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps.
• Provide on‑site and remote support to end‑users for network‑related problems.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate and operate network‑related systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT support, networking and system administration.
• Hands‑on experience configuring and troubleshooting MacBooks.
• Strong problem‑solving, documentation and communication abilities.
