IT Project Manager – Site Opening & High Priority Projects

About the role

The IT Project Manager will act as the single point of accountability for IT within new site opening initiatives and for delivering critical, high‑priority IT projects on schedule. This hands‑on leader will split time between the head office and field sites, ensuring seamless coordination across all IT functions and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Represent IT on all site‑opening projects, coordinating readiness across entertainment, construction, applications, operations, telecom, infrastructure, service delivery, managed services, asset management, and system integrators.
• Consolidate inputs from all IT workstreams and deliver unified project updates to the program team and Steering Committee.
• Prepare and maintain the Bill of Quantities for IT scope at each site, track milestones, flag deviations, and drive corrective actions.
• Obtain formal sign‑offs at each milestone and project closure from relevant stakeholders.
• Visit sites regularly to validate readiness, inspect installations, and resolve issues directly with site and vendor teams.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements for crucial and high‑priority projects.
• Maintain weekly status updates, risk and issue logs, and ensure documentation is current and accessible.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex IT projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong ability to work on‑site at new locations while also presenting concise updates to senior leadership.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on risk identification, mitigation, and proactive issue resolution.
