IT Support Specialist – Onsite in Abu Dhabi

About the role

Our client, a leading private investment and support office in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide hands‑on technical assistance across its diverse portfolio of businesses and education projects. This fully onsite position supports staff and students in a dynamic IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and classroom technology.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, Wi‑Fi and connectivity issues.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions and password‑related requests.
• Support Microsoft 365, Windows and Active Directory environments.
• Install, configure and maintain IT equipment and software.
• Maintain accurate IT asset and support records.
• Escalate complex technical issues when necessary.
• Coordinate with external vendors as required.
• Ensure user requests are resolved promptly and professionally.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of experience in IT support, desktop support or helpdesk operations.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and basic networking.
• Experience supporting printers, Wi‑Fi, audio‑visual equipment and end‑user devices.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Experience in a school or education environment is preferred.
• Arabic speakers are preferred.
• Relevant IT qualifications or certifications are advantageous.
