JavaScript Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled JavaScript Developer to join a global AI leader on a full‑time remote basis. The role blends full‑stack development with AI model training, allowing you to contribute to both commercial and research projects for US‑based clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality code for training and optimizing AI models.
• Run evaluations to benchmark model performance and analyse results for continuous improvement.
• Rank AI model responses across diverse domains, ensuring alignment with predefined criteria.
• Lead supervised fine‑tuning efforts, creating and curating task‑specific datasets.
• Collaborate with researchers and annotators to implement reinforcement learning with human feedback (RLHF) and refine reward models.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Python and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Experience writing readable, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Ability to conduct thorough peer reviews of code and documentation.
• Knowledge of Docker for containerisation and deployment.
• Familiarity with performance measurement tools and methodologies.
