Junior AI Engineer / Data Scientist

About the role

Join the digital marketing team of FIVE Hotels and Resorts as a Junior AI Engineer / Data Scientist. You will help deliver exceptional guest experiences by building and deploying AI-driven solutions across operations, marketing, reservations and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain machine‑learning models and AI workflows for business use cases.
• Design, implement and optimise data pipelines, ETL processes and APIs.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations and revenue teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Perform data analysis, visualisation and reporting to support decision‑making.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging AI technologies such as LLMs and conversational agents.

Required profile

• 0–3 years of experience in data science, AI, machine learning or related fields.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Self‑starter attitude, proactive and ownership‑driven.

Required skills

• Python
• SQL
• Data analysis, statistics and machine‑learning fundamentals
• Libraries such as Scikit‑learn, Pandas, NumPy
• API integration and handling structured/unstructured data
• Understanding of LLMs, AI agents and prompt engineering
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipelines
